Ted Hsiung, Head of Business Development, International Projects, PCCW Ltd PDF Print E-mail

ted_hsiung_150.jpgTed Hsiung has held senior positions with PCCW and HK Telecom for the past ten years.  His current position is Head of Business Development for PCCW International Projects.  Prior to this, he was Head of Business Development for CASCADE Ltd, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary and the technical services arm of PCCW.

Between 1999 and 2001, he was President, Commercial Services, PCCW, responsible for a range of local fixed-network services, such as wholesale services, call center/teleservices, customer-building services, technical services and purchasing and supply.

Before 1999, Ted served as the Director of Customer Service of HK Telecom with responsibilities for telecommunications-service provisioning and restoration of fixed-line services for all market segments.  During this period, he also headed the implementation of strategic purchasing practices and the Business Process Reengineering initiative for the company.

Ted gained a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle in 1972, a Master of Engineering degree from Montreal’s McGill University in 1974 and an MBA from Toronto’s York University in 1981.

Ted is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply in Hong Kong and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. He is also a member of the Advisory Board on Business Studies of Lingnan University of Hong Kong.
